Alan Ritchson posted a playful Instagram video to his “haters” days after a violent scuffle with his neighbor.
“Where are all my haters? All my ‘War Machine’ haters?” the actor asked with a laugh at the beginning of Thursday’s video.
He applauded “people who saw that movie,” adding, “Even if it’s part of the story, there were comments like, ‘He’s too old to play a soldier.'”
The 43-year-old added: “Well, guess what? What age did the US raise the military enlistment age? 42! Yes! ‘War Machine’ is now prophetic.”
Ritchson wrote in the caption, “What’s there to complain about now?! Old men for the win! Perfect movie! 200 points on Rotten Tomatoes! 150 Oscars! Nothing can stop us!”
The “Reacher” star did not address his headline-grabbing fight with Nashville resident Ronnie Taylor, whom he had cryptically mentioned in his last two posts.
Most recently, Ritchson hinted at his “crazy week” in an upload on Wednesday.
He told his followers, “It’s great to be back in the booth after such a crazy week! Here’s the post-production, #Reacher season 4 wrap-up. This is, without a doubt, our most captivating season yet. I think we’re on track. We’re firing on all cylinders… so to speak.”
Two days ago, the “Blood Drive” alum shared a quote from Napoleon Bonaparte.
It said, “Never interfere when your enemy is making a mistake.”
Asked to comment on Sunday’s altercation, Mr Ritchson told the Daily Mail that he was “unable to answer any questions about the matter” due to an “active investigation”.
Police subsequently decided that the “Youngville” graduate would not face criminal charges.
For the second day in a row, Mr. Ritchson and Mr. Taylor collided with Mr. Ritchson, who was riding his motorcycle through the neighborhood with the engine revving.
Taylor allegedly pushed the Titans alum out of his car multiple times in front of Ritchson’s children and repeatedly punched him in return.
Page Six reported that the incident could help Ritchson’s career, with Eric Schiffer, president of Reputation Management Consultants, saying, “Viewers love fighters and hate cowards, so the dump feeds the Reacher machine.”
