Rachel Zoe and former assistant Brad Goreski’s feud reignites

“The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Rachel Zoe has reignited her feud with former assistant Brad Goreski.

In a chat with Interview magazine published Thursday, the 54-year-old fashion designer blamed her former assistants, saying she was “triggered” by the experience of eating a bad apple.

“It’s a trigger. I have some of the best people in the world, like family, and vice versa,” she said. “It’s always the hardest job to fill.”

The magazine also shared Zoe’s remarks in an Instagram post, which quickly caught the attention of Goreski, who responded in the comments.

“He also inspired his assistants: Taylor, Jill, Jordan, Tara, and myself,” he wrote.

The Jordan in question, Jordan Johnson Chan, confirmed Goreski’s claims.

“@bradgoreski accurate,” she wrote.

Representatives for Zoe did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.

The two stylists have had a bad relationship since Goreski, 48, who started styling celebrities as one of Zoe’s assistants and appeared on her TV series “The Rachel Zoe Project,” split in 2010 to launch his own career.

In March 2011, he appeared on his own show, “It’s a Brad Brad World.”

In 2011, a source told Page Six that Zoe and Goreski were at odds as Zoe’s celebrity clients began switching over in favor of Goreski’s new venture (one of the stars in question was Demi Moore).

“Rachel is furious. Brad helped style Demi and now Rachel feels betrayed,” a source said at the time.

In a 2011 episode of the reality series, Zoe accused Goreski of going after customers.

“Within a week[of leaving]he started following our clients, started going to all the events, started doing all the things he had said he wasn’t interested in,” she said at the time.

Later that year, Goreski denied Zoe’s allegations against him in an interview with The Daily Beast.

“I think it’s unfortunate that she chose to take that view because that’s not true,” he said. “It’s unfortunate that out of all the time I spent with her and the many long conversations I had with her about quitting my job, she chose the character to assassinate me on TV.”

“That’s not true,” he added about her client stealing the bill. “And she knows that’s not true. I didn’t even say goodbye to many of my clients because I didn’t want people to think I was soliciting anyone.”

The two remained unfriendly over the years, despite Goreski’s various claims that “the door was always open” if Zoe wanted to bury the hatchet.

Most recently, Zoe clarified her stance on the future, revealing in January that the main reason she decided to stop styling clients was because she “couldn’t trust my assistants.”

“I don’t know the right words, but after being completely betrayed by enough assistants in so many ways and not trusting them to represent my clients and what I do to them and how I interact with them, I don’t think it’s worth it anymore,” Zoe told People magazine.
