A+E Global Media calls Rachael Ray “delicious” and expands its partnership with TV chefs and personalities. The deal is in addition to a broader agreement that A+E Global Media signed with Ray last year.
In Thursday’s announcement, Ray and Free Food Studio, a joint venture between Ray, Intentional Content and A+E Global Media, will produce 110 new episodes for A+E Global Media’s lifestyle brand Home.Made.Nation and programming blocks on A&E and FYI cable channels.
The order includes new episodes of Ray’s “Mials in Minutes,” among other things. New episodes end in 2026. When the joint venture begins in 2024, A+E Networks has ordered 278 new episodes from Free Food Studio across a variety of food-related series. Free Food Studios’ collaborations included series featuring Ray, as well as other notable chefs.
“We’re excited to continue to expand our partnership with A+E and continue to share the food and storytelling that makes us feel at home,” Ray said in a statement. “We worked with Free Food Studios to build a creative space where cooks and viewers can connect through comfort, curiosity, and real-life inspiration, and we can’t wait to bring even more of that to audiences around the world.”
Ray launched Free Food Studio in 2023 with longtime collaborators Brian Flanagan, Anthony Amoia and Sean Lee from the production company Intentional Content. The move came after her daytime talk show “Rachael Ray” ended after 17 seasons. (Ray, of course, was known for his extensive work on the Food Network over the years.)
Under the original agreement last year, the series ordered included “Rachael Ray’s Meals in Minutes” and “Rachael Ray’s Tuscany.” Ray, Flanagan, Amoia and Lee are executive producers of the Free Food Studios series.
A+E Global Media’s Home.Made.Nation operates on A&E, FYI, and various FAST channels and features series and short-form content covering DIY, home improvement, home hunting, and decorating topics, as well as food, cooking, travel, and other lifestyle-related content.
