Prince William knew how to break ice during President Donald Trump’s state visit with his father, King Charles this week.
William and his wife, Kate Middleton, were responsible for officially welcoming the US President and First Lady Melania Trump when helicopter Marine Wang landed on the Windsor Castle grounds on Wednesday, September 17th.
While encouraging the royal meeting, William slipped a slijab in the dignity and circumstances of the moment, telling Trump, “This is my dad,” and introducing him to the king.

Trump then joined the royal family in a carriage procession before enjoying lunch together in the castle.
After lunch, people learned that William and Kate were also having a private meeting with Trump. The palace did not share details of what was discussed, but the meeting was described as “warm and friendly.”
Additionally, on Wednesday afternoon, Donald and Melania traveled to St. George’s Chapel on Windsor Castle grounds, laying wreaths in the grave of the late Queen Elizabeth. According to royal reporter Rebecca English, Trump spent 10 minutes remorse at the Queen’s burial ground, and President Trump called the visit “a great honor.”
But the main focus of Trump’s national visit was on a gorgeous state banquet Wednesday night. In addition to the Royal Family, the guest list of over 160 participants included British Prime Minister Kiel Starmer, Trump’s young daughter, Tiffany Trump, and her husband, Michael Boulos.
In the surprising reforms, Boulos was actually assigned to escort Princess Kate during the official procession to the banquet.
Tiffany – the only child Donald shares with his ex-wife, Mala Maples – was also included in the queue. However, she was assigned a spot in her husband’s five locations to the lineup, walking alongside Apple CEO Tim Cook.

The King and Trump shared mutual admiration with each other during their speeches at the banquet.
King Charles spoke of the “special” relationship between the two countries, saying, “I can’t help but wonder what our ancestors in 1776 would do with this friendship today.” President George Washington and Charles’ “Five Great Grandfathers” had harsh words on each other during the American Revolution.
“But today we celebrate the relationship between the two countries that neither Washington nor George III could have imagined,” he added.
On his part, Trump called his unprecedented visit to the second state “truly one of the highest honors of my life.”
He also praised King Charles for his charity, saying, “I just lined up and waved 150, and the king knew each and every one…or at least no one complained, so I think he did. I was very impressed with it.”
