Prince William reveals which of the comedy films of actor Eugene Levy, who is a major fan.
In the third season of Levy’s Apple TV+ series, The Recrecant Traveller, The Prince of Wales (43), speaks at length with the actor, reflecting on the history of his family and how he makes things different in the next generation of royals.
But at the beginning of their conversation in an episode entitled “The Royal Life in the UK,” William First Jokes said, “I heard you’re in town, so why did you think you didn’t come here?
He continues, explaining, “I was, I was that generation.”
Levy then asks who saw American Pie, who released a sequel with him in 1999, following the early 2000s.
“A lot of my friends,” explains Prince William.
The duo later headed to the local pub to continue the conversation. While there they discussed the health of William’s wife, Kate Middleton, and his father, King Charles.
When asked how both are doing now, William said, “Things are good. Everything is progressing in the right way, that’s all good news. But 2024 was the most difficult year I’ve ever had.

“But it’s important that my family feels protected and have the space to handle a lot of the things that were done last year, and that was a challenge to do it and try to keep up with the work,” he continues. “But you know, we all have challenges that come our path and it’s important to continue.”

The UK episode of Recroctant Traveler will debut on Apple TV+ on Friday, October 3rd. New episodes are released every week.
