Prince Harry has released a poignant response to reports that his recent reunion with his father, Charles III, was “clearly formal” and felt more like an “official visitor” than a family.
In a rare statement on Saturday, the Duke of Sussex calls the “obstruction” statement “categorically false.”
“The recent report on the Duke’s views on the tone of the meeting is decisively wrong,” a Harry spokesman tells Page 6.
“The quote arising from him is a pure invention that can only be assumed by intentional sources that interfere with the reconciliation between the father and son, and perhaps the same source also chose to reveal that the gifts were exchanged.”
Representatives also confirm that Harry presented the photograph to his father, as Page 6 had previously exclusively reported it. Sources said the royal family recently went to a meeting armed with photos and videos of him and Meghan Markle’s children.
Harry’s spokesman adds a gesture. “While such details would prefer to remain private, for clarity, we can confirm that the framed photographs were handed over, but the image did not include the Duke and Duchess.”
Duke’s passionate remarks by his spokesman came after Harry marked his first meeting in 19 months for a brief meeting at Clarence House, London on September 10th, after reuniting with 76-year-old Charles.
During the chat, the king reportedly presented his son with a present before his birthday on September 15th, when he turned 41.
After tea, the duke continued to tell reporters that his father, who was diagnosed with cancer in 2024, was doing something “great.”
Page 6 was told that Harry “loves” his trip to his home country for several different reasons.
“He obviously returned to the UK and was able to catch up with his old friends and colleagues and support the incredible work that generally means a lot to him,” a Royal representative said.
Harry reportedly reportedly “expressing his desire to reconnect” after sending his father a “handwritten letter.”
The two exchanged “embracs and tears” during the emotional reunion, and “the mood was real and positive,” the insider previously told Weekly.
“They first met each other, they shared a long hug,” the insider further insisted. “Harry started crying, but it was very emotional for both of them. They really missed each other.”
