The Duke of Sussex told the Guardian: “Next year we have to focus on our fathers,” Harry said he wanted to spend more time in the UK and take two children there.
Prince Harry suggests that he would like to meet his father, King Charles, following his recent reunion during his visit to England.
The 41-year-old Duke of Sussex has returned to California after a trip to England. This visit included a visit to several charities close to his heart and a private tea with his father, Charles, whom he had never seen in 19 months.
Harry finally saw the 76-year-old King in person in February 2024, days after revealing he was being treated for private cancer. At their latest meeting, the Duke of Sussex arrived by car at Clarence House on September 10th around 5:20pm. He was then seen leaving the residence about 55 minutes later.

While talking to the Guardian during his recent trip to Ukraine, Harry didn’t talk much about his father, suggesting he didn’t want to be a one-time recent reunion.
He told the outlet, “Next year, “the focus needs to be on my dad,” and said he wanted to spend more time in the UK and take his kids with him.
“This week definitely brought it closer,” he said of his visit to the UK.
Harry also claimed that his wife, Meghan Markle, 44, briefly mentioned in an interview with The Guardian, telling him that telling the truth is “the most efficient way of life.”
“She said, ‘I’m just sticking to the truth.’ That’s something I always retreat. Always the Duke of Sussex. “And if you think that way, who’s stupid enough to lie? It’s going to take too much time and effort.”

Talk then turned to Harry’s 2023 memoir spare, where he became famous about living in the royal spotlight.
“I know that (the remark) bothers some people and goes against the story. The book was a series of revisions to the story already there. One perspective was put out and it had to be revised,” he told the publication.
Harry continues, “I don’t think I aired dirty laundry in public. It was a difficult message, but I did it in the best possible way. My conscience is clear.”
He insisted on being called stubborn. “It’s not stubborn, it has principles… It’s not about revenge, it’s about accountability,” he added in life, “You can’t reconcile before you have the truth.”

The reunion between Harry and King Charles was a groundbreaking moment for father and son. People close to the Duke told people that the king had not previously called him, and the message was left unanswered.
Harry expressed his desire to start a step towards reconciliation, telling BBC News in May that he loves “reconciliation.”
He also recognized that in recent years, some of his actions, including writing spares for his memoirs, have made it difficult for members of his family to speak to him.

When Prince Harry’s new aide and one of the King’s main staff first met in July, it seemed the lines of communication had resumed. The meeting was considered by some insiders as a branch of olives that could pave the way for a better relationship.
“It was a good first step,” an insider told people at the time. “It’s always better to talk.”
Following Harry’s recent trip, the spokesman said he “loved” him returning to England.
“He obviously returned to England to catch up with his old friends and colleagues, and was able to support the incredible work that generally means a lot to him,” he shares his wife, Meghan, and his children, Duke of Sussex, who lives with Archie and Lillivet.
