King Charles’ new documentary features his sons Prince William and Prince Harry.
Finding Harmony: A King’s Vision, a new film focused on the King’s nature, highlights the King’s love of nature and passion for conservation, and in doing so also highlights some personal moments from his past.
The short footage of Harry, now 41, shows the future Duke of Sussex fly-fishing with his father as a child.
King Charles, 77, particularly loved fishing and exploring the River Dee, which flows through Scotland’s Balmoral Castle. The River Dee is a summer destination for the royal family, a tradition that dates back to the reign of Queen Victoria.
When his sons were young, the then Prince Charles was often photographed with them on the grounds of Balmoral in the summer, often joined by their beloved family dog.

Prince William, now 43, appears twice in Finding Harmony. Once as a boy, lying on the grass with his father, and once as a 20-something, tending cows at the royal home farm near Highgrove House in Gloucestershire.
King Charles and Prince Harry have met several times in recent years, despite reports of a falling out, with the king not responding to his younger son’s calls or messages.
The Duke of Sussex flew from his home in California to his home country in February 2024, just days after revealing his father was undergoing treatment for cancer.
Then, in July 2025, an aide to Prince Harry and one of the king’s key staff met for the first time, in what was thought to be a potential path to improved relations.
“It was a good first step,” a source told PEOPLE at the time. “It’s much better to talk.”
In September 2025, father and son met in person for the first time in 18 months, and although the meeting was short, it appeared that they had taken a step towards repairing their relationship. Representatives for both Prince Harry and the king said the pair met for tea at Clarence House and then declined to give any other details.

“Harmony” in the documentary’s title refers to the King’s philosophy of creating unity between humans and nature in order to create a balance that can sustain the planet for many years to come.
His King’s Foundation website states, “The philosophy of harmony sees everything in nature, including ourselves, as interconnected. This means taking a holistic approach to the challenges facing our planet and seeking to solve these challenges by working with nature rather than against it.”

A press release for the documentary, narrated by Kate Winslet, explains that the film “aims to show new audiences the importance of harmony and highlight the urgent action needed to protect our planet, as Her Majesty reflects on her life’s work across nature, sustainability and the environment.”
The King and his staff filmed at Dumfries House, the King’s Foundation headquarters in Ayrshire, Scotland, Highgrove Gardens in Gloucestershire, and other locations around the world, highlighting the Harmony Project on four continents.
