Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, made a surprise appearance at a benefits concert after a “emotional” meeting with Charles III.
On Saturday, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex attended One805Live! A concert to support first Santa Barbara County responders at Kevin Costner’s Oceanside Estate in Summerland, California.
Markle quickly joined Harry on stage on the show. This featured performances by Trisha Yearwood, Good Charlotte, The Frey and others.
She then hugged her husband and watched from the side of the stage as the author of “Spare” awarded the award to the first responder who supported her colleagues on mental health issues.
The “suit” alum, 44, stunned in a navy blue halter dress and tan heels, while 41-year-old Harry rocked a dark blazer, shirt and pants.
Several other celebrities were present, including Rob Lowe, Oprah Winfrey and Maria Schreiber.
The benefits concert marked Harry and Markle’s first public appearance and met his estranged father, Charles, in the UK.
On September 10th, Page Six learned that the founder of Invictus Games had been discovered to have arrived at Clarence House at King’s London Home for “private tea.”
It was said that Charles and Harry were just shy and chatting.
US Weekly reported that the estranged duo met Harry “after writing a handwritten letter… he expressed his desire to reconnect earlier this year.”
“They didn’t know if that would happen just last week,” the outlet insisted last Sunday, calling the meeting “ultra positive and very relaxed.”
“They were personally catching up with the kids and what was going on with Charles and his health.”
Sources told Weekly that there was a “hugging and tears” and that “the mood was genuine and positive.”
“They first met each other, they shared a long hug. Harry began to cry. It was very emotional for both of them. They really missed each other,” the insider claimed.
Before the reunion, Harry and his father had not met in person since February 2024, when Charles announced that he had been diagnosed with cancer.
