Prince Harry emphasized the importance of his family for the first time in more than a year during his visit to Ukraine shortly after reuniting with his father, Charles III.
The author of “Spare” was asked to speak in Kiev on Friday for injured soldiers who recovered from the conflict.
“You might feel lost at times like there’s a lack of purpose, but even if there’s a day, there’s a light at the end of the tunnel,” he said in a panel discussion.
“You need to look for it because there’s always someone to come to you, either a mother, father, sibling, friend, or a comrade.”
Harry further encouraged men and women to lean on their beloved side to support them, saying, “Don’t stay silent. Silence will hold you in the darkness.
“Open it to your friends and family because by doing so you will give them permission to do the same.”
His words of wisdom come just two days after meeting Charles after a period of 19 months.
Page 6 learned earlier this week that the father-son duo had gathered for a “private tea” on Wednesday at Clarence House, King’s London home, around 5:20pm locally.
It was the first time they’ve seen each other since Harry flew to the UK after Charles’ cancer diagnosis.
Sources told Page 6 that the Archewell Foundation founder went on a much-anticipated visit in a video of two young children, including him and his wife Meghan Markle, to reestablish family ties.
In May, Harry gave insight into what was driving the ongoing lift with Charles in the first place.
He told the BBC at the time, “Life is precious. I don’t know how long my dad has. He won’t tell me because of this security, but it’s good to reconcile.”
After their latest reunion, a spokesman for Harry told Page 6 that the Duke of Sussex “can clearly return to the UK and catch up with his old friends, colleagues and support the incredible work that causes what generally means to him.”
