Prince Harry is baffled by Taylor Swift and Charli XCX’s bad blood.
The Duke of Sussex was asked a hilarious question about the singers’ feud during Wednesday’s episode of his podcast, Hasan Minhaj Doesn’t Know.
Host Hasan Minhaj introduced the topic by warning Harry, 41, that it was “heavy”.
The 40-year-old comedian asked, “What do you think about this Taylor Swift, Charli XCX beef?”
Harry immediately looked confused and replied, “What? Oh, no.”
As the retired royal looked confused and looked away from the camera, Minja explained the track that the Grammy winners had dissed about each other online.
“This is serious,” he said. “I mean, Charlie’s diss track was a diss track? Because to me, ‘Sympathy is a Knife’ was about something completely different. But then Taylor came back and I think it escalated with ‘Actually Romantic.’
Notably, “Sympathy Is a Knife” was released in 2024 and featured lyrics about a girl “tapping at[her]insecurities.”
Earlier this month, Swift released her album “Life of a Showgirl,” and in “Actually Romantic,” she compared fellow artists to “toy chihuahuas barking at me out of their little wallets.”
Minaj concluded the discussion about the song by asking, “Is this fair? Or did Charli draw blood and Taylor have to respond?”
Harry, still looking completely confused by the direction of the subject, began to react when the actor interrupted him.
“Sometimes I wonder, where do we go from here?” Minhaj asked.
“Well,” was all Harry could say before he started laughing.
YouTube viewers flooded with comments about how the “ignorant” ex-military pilot is “really confused” by pop culture tidbits.
“Hasan was free and Harry was such a good sport,” one social media user wrote, while another added: “Can’t believe Hasan is interviewing literal royalty and talking about Taylor Swift.”
The awkward exchange began a podcast interview that primarily explored the dangers of children’s use of social media.
The interview comes a day after Prince Harry’s wife Meghan Markle revealed her Swiftie status while preparing for her As Ever line product drop.
She blasted “Opalite” through her Instagram Story in an Instagram Story upload on Tuesday.
