Happy Halloween to Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis!
Prince William and Duchess Kate’s three children may be counting down the days to a spooky holiday on October 31, which falls during this year’s Lambrook School half-term break.
Some anecdotes suggest that Prince George, 12, Princess Charlotte, 10, and Prince Louis, 7, have embraced the spirit of the season and celebrated Halloween before.
2023, Hello! The magazine published a photo of Princess Kate trick-or-treating with children last Halloween.
The snapshot showed the Princess of Wales, now 43, standing at a wrought iron gate with George, Charlotte and Louis, leaves falling around them.
Although it was difficult to discern the children’s clothing in the photo, the Princess of Wales was carrying a bag – presumably to carry candy.
“For anyone wondering how real William and Kate are…this is Kate, with her kids, knocking on our door for Halloween trick-or-treating in London,” neighbor Jay Rutland wrote with a jack-o’-lantern emoji above the photo.

A few years ago, Princess Kate was also spotted shopping for Halloween costumes at Sainsbury’s supermarket in Norfolk, where her family has their country home, Anmer Hall.
The Duchess of Cambridge took George and Charlotte on a shopping trip in October 2019, where she was spotted perusing the Halloween section by local Cathy Whittaker.
“I didn’t see what she actually bought,” Whittaker said at the time, according to several British newspapers. “The woman who said she was there also had children and said Kate was asking them what they were going to do for Halloween.”
“I think she bought the kids some Halloween stuff, but I don’t know what it is,” she added.

Duchess Kate’s mother, Carole Middleton, has previously said that Halloween is one of her favorite seasons of autumn, so it may be that the love for Halloween runs deep in the Middleton family.
“Halloween is the highlight of fall for me. I still remember the fun and terror of my own childhood: the opportunity to dress up, decorate pumpkins, and go trick-or-treating,” Carroll wrote on her Party Pieces Instagram profile in 2022, a year before she sold the party supplies business she started in 1987.
“I also grew my own pumpkins this year, so I’m looking forward to decorating them with my loved ones,” she added of an activity she will likely take on with her grandchildren.
