Aubrey Plaza put her baby bump on display for the first time on Wednesday.
The ‘White Lotus’ actress, 41, showed off her pregnant belly while walking her dog in New York City. In new photos obtained by Page Six.
Plaza was dressed casually in a blue coat, burgundy shirt, gray sweatpants, New Balance sneakers and black sunglasses.
People broke the news on Tuesday that Plaza is pregnant with her first child with her partner, actor Christopher Abbott, and is due in the fall.
“After an emotional year, this was a beautiful surprise,” a source told the magazine, referring to the death of Plaza’s husband Jeff Baena in January 2025.
“They feel very blessed,” the source added.
Plaza hid her bulge when she attended Paris Fashion Week last month.
The Emmy nominee wore a red piqué polo collar dress and white skirt while sitting front row at the Lacoste show on March 8.
It’s unclear when Plaza and Abbott officially became a couple, but they have co-starred together numerous times, including in the 2023-2024 Off-Broadway revival of Danny and the Deep Blue Sea and in the 2020 film Black Bear.
“He cares, but sometimes he doesn’t. That’s the best recipe for me as a scene partner,” Plaza said of Abbott in a September 2023 interview with The New York Times.
She added, “It’s fun, it’s good, and it’s safe. I like to throw things out of windows, laugh, and goof around, but I like not to take myself too seriously. That combo is hard to find.”
Abbott is best known for his breakout role as Charlie on HBO’s hit show Girls, starring Lena Dunham.
His other notable projects include the USA Network series “The Sinner,” the Apple TV miniseries “The Crowded Room,” and the 2019 Golden Globe-nominated Hulu show “Catch-22.”
Plaza’s late husband, Baena, tragically committed suicide in January 2025 at the age of 47.
The two married in 2021 but separated four months before the director’s death.
Last August, Plaza opened up about her grief during an appearance on former Parks and Recreation co-star Amy Poehler’s podcast Good Hang.
“I feel blessed to be with you at this very moment,” she said. “Overall, I’m here and I’m functioning.”
Plaza likened her grief to “a huge, scary ocean right there.”
“Sometimes I just want to jump in there and be in it,” Plaza continued. “Sometimes you look at it, sometimes you try to run away from it, but it’s always there.”
