Pete Davidson is calling on the internet to turn on Pedro Pascal. While appearing on Theo Von’s “this last weekend” podcast (via people), the “SNL” alumni commented on how “can’t wait” for social media to oppose the entertainment figure they’ve previously loved.
“Two years ago he was a hardworking and great actor,” Davidson said of Pascal’s reputation. “Everyone, he was a hard worker and struggling actor,” the fucking blows so hard. A year later, he’s all right now, because he’s hot and big and everyone is like, “Stop fucking, guy.” ”
“You had to give someone time to adapt to that new level of fame,” Davidson continued. “He’s been banging it for 30 years and now he’s learning how to go out for coffee, or something like interacting with someone who’s on his shoulder while he puts his earphones in.
“We’re like building up everyone. It’s like (celebrity) making turns very fast,” Davidson agreed, adding, “The turns are crazy.”
Davidson said Pascal is far from alone, and social media is “I’m going to do that with Walton Goggins next. … That’s within a few months.”
Pascal has revealed that he has been cast on the big screen, from Star Wars to The Mandalorian role to The Mandalorian and Grog to be in theaters in May 2026) to Marvel (Fantastic Four opens next summer, next year’s Fantastic Four opens in Last Lich and Avenger’s Rich, when his role in Star Wars (The Mandalorian) has moved on to the big screen. As part of the cover story for Vanity Fair earlier this year, Pascal revealed that he has been cast in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which has gained most contention from social media users.
“I know more about casting complaints than I’ve done,” Pascal said of Reed Richards/. He added that the regular complaints he has heard are: “He’s too old. He’s not right. He needs to shave.”
