“Perfect Neighbor” recorded 16.7 million views in the first three days after its release on Netflix.
The documentary, which uses body camera footage to explore the shooting death of Ajike Owens by neighbor Susan Lorincz, ranked as the second most-watched title on Netflix for the week of October 13-19. Only “The Woman in Cabin 10” surpassed this number of viewers, with 30.1 million views in its second week after debuting with 21.2 million views the previous week.
Together, these two films pushed “KPop Demon Hunters” down to number 3 on the English movie chart for the first time. Until this week, the animated fantasy film had been ranked either No. 1 or No. 2 for 17 consecutive weeks. During the week of October 13th to 19th, it racked up a still impressive 16.2 million views.
