Bad Bunny is bringing his sound and style from Puerto Rico to the world, and PEOPLE is joining in the celebration.
The latest special edition issue of PEOPLE, on newsstands Friday, January 30th, covers his groundbreaking career from his early days to headlining the LX Super Bowl halftime show to making history at the Grammy Awards. The special edition also includes a look back at the history of Super Bowl halftime shows, from Ella Fitzgerald to Jennifer Lopez, Shakira to Kendrick Lamar. “I was able to score a touchdown because the guys before me ran for countless yards,” Bad Bunny said when his participation was announced.

On January 16, the “Ojitos Lindos” singer released a trailer for his upcoming show. The trailer, filmed in Puerto Rico, shows Bad Bunny dancing to his song “BAILE INoLVIDABLE” with a diverse group of people under a gorgeous Puerto Rican tree. According to a press release, “This film serves as an open invitation for the entire world, no matter who you are or where you come from, to join Bad Bunny’s monumental Super Bowl halftime performance and be excited by the rhythm, unity, and cultural richness that only Bad Bunny can bring to the world stage.”
The Super Bowl Halftime Show will be held on February 8th at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California and will be broadcast live on NBC, Telemundo and Peacock.

Bad Bunny (real name Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio) released his latest studio album, “Debi Tilár Mas Fotos,” in January 2025. When the Grammy nominations were announced in November, the singer and rapper made history as the first Spanish-language artist to be nominated for album, record, or song of the year.
After the Super Bowl, Bad Bunny will continue his Debi Tirard Mas Fotos World Tour, scheduled to end in July.
