Pamela Anderson appears to have denied her involvement in a public relations-led relationship with “Naked Gun” co-star Liam Neeson.
“I didn’t feed the PR stunts,” she said Friday at the Deauville American Film Festival in France.
“It’s going to be a death sentence,” she continued on people-by-people while on stage. “I’m as motivated as the real thing. I’m superstitious when it comes to love, and I’m not comfortable sharing pieces of my romantic life.”
She said, “I know I fall in love on screen many times. That’s my job. If we do it well, you’ll feel it, a kind of projection.”
Of the speculation, she said, “It’s the biggest compliment. So, think of it positive. And I appreciate your good wishes. No stupid game has been played. I’m sincere.”
Reps for Anderson and Neeson did not immediately return a request for comment on Page 6.
The 58-year-old actor, former Playboy model, 73, sparked dating rumours during a press tour filled with romantic PDAs in summer comedy.
The July report allegedly, according to people sources, the duo was in a “early budding romance.” “It’s clear they’re hooked on each other,” they added.
Andy Cohen has been heavily on the apparent romance, saying that the “The Last Showgirl” star is like Neeson’s late wife, “Personal Trap” actress Natasha Richardson, before he died.
“She’s just like Tash, an independent woman,” he told the Sirius XM show in July. “She loves to cook. She continues to do her thing. She has two boys.”
Shortly afterwards, a new report claimed that their co-stars were not involved, but instead embarked on a calculated promotional stunt for their film.
But insiders told Page 6 last Friday. “There was immediate chemistry, but it never developed into an intimate relationship,” the source leaked to us.
But their friendship is “real” and “they’ve always been friends and they’re connected,” the insider added.
Another insider previously told Page 6 that the loving red carpet’s appearance was “very honest” and not “fake.”
“They don’t show up on the red carpet, they’re adorable just to be fake. That’s not either,” our source explained.
Anderson previously married a series of famous faces, including Tommy Lee, Kid Rock and Rick Salomon. She recently married Dan Hayhurst, who married in 2020 and divorced in 2022.
The actress shares two sons with Lee.
Neeson was married to Richardson from 1994 until his accidental death in 2009. She died tragically after a ski accident. They also shared two sons.
