Pamela Abdi and Michael De Luca, co-chairmen and CEOs of Warner Bros. Pictures Group, will co-chair MPTF’s 24th annual Night Before Oscars philanthropy on March 14 in Los Angeles.
The night will include a DJ set by Grammy Award winner Diplo.
“The Night Before is a meaningful reminder of what we can accomplish when we support each other,” Abdi and De Luca said in a joint statement Wednesday morning. “MPTF continues to be essential to our creative community and I am honored to co-chair this year’s event.”
Additional co-chairs and celebrity host committees will be announced at a later date. This year’s sponsors include City National Bank, Delta Air Lines, L’Oréal Group and UCLA Health.
MPTF supports active and retired members of the entertainment community through a safety net of health and social services, including temporary financial assistance, case management, residential living, and child care.
Last year’s event, co-chaired by Demi Moore, Colman Domingo and Cynthia Erivo, raised nearly $4 million.
