Paige DeSorbo and Hannah Berner are supporting their former Summer House co-star Ciara Miller after Amanda Batula confirmed her secret romance with Miller’s ex West Wilson.
“Obviously, we’re alive. We’re on the internet and we know what’s going on,” DeSorbo, 33, said on Friday’s episode of her and Berner’s podcast, “Giggle Team.”
“Ciara is a true friend of ours in real life as well. So we’ve been talking to her and comforting her. We support her 100%. We have no intention of exploiting or monetizing our friend’s heartbreak.”
Berner, 34, chimed in: “We love Ciara. She’s the only female guest to ever appear on ‘Giggle Squad’ besides the two cat psychics.”
This update comes shortly after it was revealed that Miller, 30, and Wilson, 31, who dated in 2023, were “in a relationship” just weeks before her bombshell confession to Batula.
The exes got together “about three to four weeks ago” after he was “wooing” her, a source claimed to Us Weekly on Friday.
“But Ciara didn’t know anything about Amanda,” the source added. “No one did.”
Wilson and Batula, 34, announced their private relationship via Instagram Stories on Tuesday after facing speculation from fans.
“Over the years, we have supported each other as friends through ups and downs, but recent developments were something neither of us expected,” BravolBreeze said in a joint statement.
“Our connection stems from many years of genuine friendship, which is why it was especially important for us to approach this carefully,” they continued. “As our emotions change, we wanted to take the time to understand exactly what we were feeling.”
The pair added that while they were aware of the “impact” of their actions, they “never wanted[their]actions to be hurtful or to be seen as careless.”
The statement came as a shock to many, including the cast of “Summer House,” who were said to be “upset” and “disappointed” by the news. However, sources say Miller already knew of his friend’s betrayal before he admitted to his relationship with his ex-girlfriend.
A source close to the situation told TMZ that Miller has obtained a video that purports to show her ex-best friend and Wilson getting intimate in their New York City apartment.
Another source told the outlet that Batula sent a message on Monday, the day before Miller and Wilson posted their joint statement on Instagram, saying he “didn’t mean to hurt her.”
