You don’t ask, you don’t get.
Kieran Culkin and his wife, Jazz Charton, appeared to confirm that they were expecting a third child while attending the opening night of “Waiting for Godot” on Sunday in New York.
“Inheritance” star, 42, was seen lovingly resting his hands on the flower bangs of his pregnant wife when the duo took a photo together.
The pair tied the knot in June 2013 and are already proud of the parents of their daughter Kinsey Sue, 6, and son Wilder Wolf, 4.
The exciting baby news comes months after Charton revealed that if he wins an Oscar, he has promised him more kids.
Speaking on stage while accepting the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actors in a Performance on “A Real Pain,” Culkin wasted no time setting the record straight.
“Let’s crack those kids, what do you say? I love you,” Culkin told his wife.
“I love your jazz – I have to absolutely appreciate my wife’s jazz for everything and give me the people I like in the world,” he began.
“About a year ago I was on a stage like this. I was very stupid and publicly said I wanted a third child from (jazz).
“After all, she didn’t think I was going to win, so she said.”
Culkin admitted that his public declaration “really annoyed” Charton, then 37, but that didn’t stop him from doing it again.
“But anyway, after the show, we’re walking through the parking lot. She’s holding Emmy and we’re trying to find a car. And I look at her and say, ‘Really, I want four.’ ”
“And she turned to me. And I swear to God that this happened, it was exactly a year ago – she said, “When you win the Oscar, I’ll give you four.”
As Culkin continued, the camera laughed Charton in the audience and covered his face.
“I held out my hand, she rocked it, and I had never raised it before,” he said enthusiastically. “You remember that, honey? Do you do that?”
“Now, I just say this to you: jazz, the love of my life, the love of small faith, there is no pressure. I love you. I am truly sorry… and let those kids crack. What do you say?”
Culkin famously asked his wife if he could expand his family after winning Emmy for the best actor in last year’s drama.
“Thank you for sharing my beautiful wife’s jazz, for sharing your life with me, and for giving me two wonderful children, Sue and Wilderwolf.
“You said – you said, maybe if I win!” he continued. “I love you so much.”
The duo met at a New York bar in 2012, and the actor recalled Meet Cute in a 2021 interview with the Hollywood Reporter previously.
“I said, ‘I’m Kieran. You have an English accent. What’s your name?” he recalled. “She said, ‘I’m jazz,’ I said, ‘Jaz, like music?’ And she said, ‘Yeah.’ And I said, “Well, that’s a stupid king.” ”
