Oprah Winfrey, Rhea Seehorn and Abby Phillippe will be among this year’s recipients of the Alliance for Women in Media Foundation’s Gracie Awards.
Winners also include Katherine LaNasa, Monica Lewinsky, Rachel Sennott, Sarah Snook, Tina Knowles, “Chapel Lawn with Kelly Bannen of Today’s Country,” “Dancing with the Stars” and “Yellowjackets.”
The Gracie Awards Gala will be held in Los Angeles on May 19th, and local and student winners will be recognized at a luncheon in New York City on June 16th.
“Women’s stories don’t just reflect the world, they shape it, they change it, and they refuse to accept the status quo,” AWMF President Becky Brooks said in a statement Monday morning. “This year’s honorees are doing just that, across every platform, every format, and every audience. We are proud, thrilled, and honored to say their names out loud.”
