On Friday, February 20th, Olivia Rodrigo celebrated her 23rd birthday in Los Angeles. She was photographed heading to the venue in the perfect pink princess look, wearing a begonia pink Burberry Fitzrovia short trench over a Blumarine strappy white dress made of lace material with detailed pink and silver embroidery.
On her feet, she wore pink Jude Haze peep-toe sandals. Rodrigo also carried a vintage silver Chanel Sequin CC Small Double Flap handbag covered in silver and pink sequins. On top of her long hair, she wore a glittering tiara with heart-shaped loops and silver and pink stones. In the photo, Rodrigo was with his friend Iris Apatow.
On Saturday, Rodrigo shared several photos from the special night. In the image, she has changed out of her trench and is wearing a pink feather boa. She also shared a photo of her collection of flowers, likely gifts from friends and family.
At the end of the merry-go-round, a black-and-white clip shows Rodrigo closing his eyes and concentrating on his wish as he is presented with a birthday cake while his friends sing. The sound died out before she could blow out the candle.
Last month, she celebrated five years since the hit of her song “Driver’s License,” reflecting on how the big moments feel so close even though so much time has passed. Sharing some old photos from that time, she wrote in the caption, “Congratulations on 5 years of ‘driver’s license’!!!” When I look back at these photos, I feel like I look like a baby, but it also feels like it was just yesterday (lol).
She continued, “This song completely changed my life in ways I can’t quite wrap my head around yet. I’m forever grateful for this magical chapter and can’t wait to scream red stop signs with you every time I play a concert for the rest of my life! Happy Birthday DL.”
