Olivia Culpo isn’t about to rain fashion failures on her parade.
The star has made memorable outfits for everything from the Miss Universe pageant to hosting red carpets, and she’s reinvented the art of dressing stylishly even on the sidelines. But Culpo, who married San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey in June 2024, has one notable regret when it comes to combining football and fashion these days.
Culpo, who recently spoke to PEOPLE about Abercrombie & Fitch’s NFL collection, recalled his shoe faux pas when he hosted the Tubi Super Bowl LIX red carpet in February.

“It started pouring in New Orleans,” she says. “I’ve been performing in these heels since about 6am, and I had to walk all the way here in the rain. I didn’t expect to need an umbrella, but it would have helped!”
The Crescent City welcomed a crowd into the (covered, climate-controlled) Caesars Superdome for the event, where the defending champion Kansas City Chiefs dominated the Philadelphia Eagles 40-22. But for those crossing outside the dome, like Culpo, the weather chances were not in their favor. And she had the added complication of being pregnant at the time, but “no one knew” that was the case yet.
After revealing her pregnancy to PEOPLE in March, Culpo and McCaffrey welcomed a baby girl, Collette Annalize McCaffrey, on July 13. As first-time parents, the two said they are thrilled to start their “next chapter” together.
“It was the scariest and most rewarding experience of all,” Culpo wrote on her Instagram Stories, alongside a photo of herself giving birth. “As soon as he walked into the room, I felt so much peace.”
She praised her athlete husband and shared his “unparalleled love” on social media, adding that Colette was “so lucky to have the best dad in the world.”
Despite being less than six months old, Colette is venturing out with her mother to watch her soccer player father smash it on the field.
Culpo posts many photos of his game day outfit on Instagram. That’s one of the reasons why she was the perfect fit to join the “In Her Own League” campaign, joining a group of NFL WAGs who are familiar with “fan style.”

The campaign, which aims to celebrate women’s contributions to gameday culture, also includes NFL WAG Olympian Chloe Kim (girlfriend of Browns defensive end Myles Garrett), podcast host Allison Kucharczyk (wife of former NFL player Isaac Rochell), and nurse Brooklyn Adams (girlfriend of Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown).
