Offset hopes to put an end to the drama along with his estranged wife Cardi B in an intrusive divorce.
The rapper dealt with the division in new comments, saying “I want all the peace” and “for us to win” for the family.
“We let the kids take care of us,” he said in a comment to TMZ on Tuesday.
The “Swing My Way” rapper said he will “certainly” support the release of the “Bodak Yellow” hitmaker’s upcoming album, “Am I The Drama” on September 12th.
The former couple shares a wave set with their daughters Kurture Chiari, 7, Blossom Bell, 1 and son.
Cardi B’s rep did not immediately return a request for comment on Page 6, but the “money” diva wasn’t very generous when asked that she “imagining lasting friendship (ed)” with her ex-husband.
“I tried,” she told Billboard for a September 3rd cover story, adding abruptly “next question.”
She also blows up the offset via X-space in June, claiming to be Deadbeat’s father, and “straightens the child’s bills all year round” in the split. In the post, she detailed the incredible costs of her children. This includes 24-hour security, extracurricular activities, private schools and nannies.
“Chiari, have I asked you anything? You want your spouse support to be so bad,” she said at the time. “And this doesn’t even include food. My kids have private chefs who come from 7am to 5pm where I pay because the people in my house don’t have time to cook.”
Cardi B, 32, filed for divorce from her 33-year-old rapper husband in July 2024, and her representative confirmed at the time on page 6. Her representative refused to provide additional details, but sources said the three primary purpose moms were to “get primary custody” amid the high-profile split.
Insider told Page 6 that the former couple, who tied the knot in 2017, simply “grown” for the months leading up to the filing.
“That’s what drove her to this decision more than anything else,” the source added, “This is something she wants to do.”
Sources said Offset was “not caught off guard by submission.”
Cardi B, who recently won a $24 million civil attack trial after taking responsibility for allegedly assaulting a security guard in 2018, is currently dating NFL star Stefon Diggs.
