Rapper Offset was shot in Florida on Monday, a spokesperson confirmed.
A rep for Offset told Page Six: “We can confirm that Offset has been shot and is currently receiving treatment at the hospital. He is in stable condition and is being closely monitored.”
TMZ first reported that Offset, 34, was shot and killed near the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Florida.
Seminole County Police told us, “We are aware of an incident that occurred in the valet area of the Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood Suburb shortly after 7:00 p.m. Monday. The incident resulted in non-life-threatening injuries to a person who was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood.”
He added, “Seminole Police immediately arrived on scene and the situation was quickly brought under control. Police took two individuals into custody.”
“The investigation is ongoing. The scene is safe and there is no threat to the public. Business continues as normal.”
The identity of the shooter and his motive remain unknown at this time.
Offset’s Migos bandmate Takeoff was shot and killed in November 2022.
He was killed at the bowling alley around 2:30 a.m. after an argument broke out over a dice game.
Offset has three children with his estranged wife Cardi B, 33. The couple is currently divorced after years of allegations of infidelity.
Page Six exclusively revealed in August 2024 that the “Bodak Yellow” rapper had filed for divorce from Offset after nearly seven years of marriage.
“They’ve grown estranged, and that’s what drove her to make this decision more than anything else,” a source told Page Six at the time, adding, “This is what she wants to do.”
