Northwest is the rising star of Skims.
North, who featured prominently in mom Kim Kardashian’s loungewear company’s cozy holiday campaign, is helping debut the brand’s limited-edition capsule at Cactus Plant Flea Market.
“The holiday season has been reinvented,” Skims declared in an Instagram post.
Available for purchase on November 20th at 12pm, the capsule marries CPFM’s signature logo style with Skims’ cozy silhouette. This collection is perfect for the cold and snowy season, full of cute winter motifs such as snowmen, pigeons, and teddy bears.
In the campaign video, each model looks at the camera in turn and says, “Guys,” while Beneda Carter and her daughter Bobbi yell, “We’re all wearing Skims.”
Still photos of each look were also released. In one of them, North wears a matching black hoodie and sweatpants, styled with knee-high white furry boots and her signature blue braids that reach below her hips.
The campaign, shot in a dining room set during a Christmas dinner, stars West, Carter and their daughter, Beabadoobee, Ken Carson, Madeline Argy and Mariah the Scientist. Each person models a different item from the line, including sweatsuits, thermal onesies, flannel jacket shorts, and pajama sets.
Kardashian, a proud Mamager candidate, also shared snaps from her eldest daughter’s photo shoot on her Instagram account. In the brand’s press release, she added, “Having North on board with this campaign makes it really special for me. She brings so much personality to her work.”
Although North West’s on-camera appearances mostly consist of Kardashian-approved TikTok videos, she made her debut in a fashion campaign at the age of five, appearing alongside her mother and grandmother Kris Jenner for Fendi.
At just 7 years old, she appeared in a campaign with Kardashian in the early days of Skims.
Kardashian spoke candidly on an episode of Call Her Daddy with Alex Cooper last month, revealing that she struggles with the public nature of her daughter’s life. Her daughter, like her friends, enjoys trying out different trends, but says she has to contend with doing so in public.
Regarding the specific look that received backlash, Kardashian added, “Unfortunately, we made that mistake in front of the whole world.”
But that doesn’t seem to deter the famous family, as West, now 12, appears prominently in a holiday-themed campaign with her signature blue braids.
“She listens to me,” Kardashian said. You know, it makes her very happy. I will never take that creativity away from her. ”
