‘Nobody Wants This’ has been renewed for season 3 on Netflix.
The news comes just two weeks after the release of Season 2 of the romantic series, which stars Kristen Bell as Joan, an agnostic woman on a podcast about sex and dating, and Adam Brody as Noah, the rabbi with whom she falls in love. In season 2, Joan and Noah’s relationship becomes more serious, and Joan is forced to decide whether to convert to Judaism. The cast also includes Justin Lupe, Timothy Simmons, and Jackie Torn.
“Nobody Wants This” is created by Erin Foster, with Jenny Konner and Bruce Eric Kaplan serving as showrunners. All three will serve as executive producers along with Bell, Steven Levitan, Sarah Foster, Daniel Stokdyk, Jeff Morton, Nora Silver, and 3Arts’ Ollie Obst. Disney’s 20th Television is the studio.
“I couldn’t be more excited for the third season of this show,” Foster said in a statement. “It’s an honor to write about my favorite couples on this scale. As long as they don’t take up too much time watching reality TV at night, I’ll keep writing for as long as they want!”
“We are so grateful to Netflix and 20th for bringing us another season of Nobody Wants This,” Conner and Kaplan said. “This job is criminally fun. Working with the uniquely talented Erin Foster was a truly amazing experience with this incredible cast of talented and hilarious professionals, great writers, and a great crew. Go Dodgers!”
