Nikki Glazer pulled no punches when she took aim at Leonardo DiCaprio during her 2026 Golden Globe Awards monologue.
The 41-year-old comedian, who returned to host the show for a second consecutive year on Sunday, January 11, took a jab at the One Battle After Another star’s relationship history during his opening remarks at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles.
“Leonardo DiCaprio is here for ‘one man bun after another’… What a career you’ve had, countless iconic performances, worked with all the great directors, three Golden Globes, an Oscar, and what’s most impressive is that you were able to do it all before your girlfriend turned 30,” Glazer quipped as DiCaprio, 51, looked down with a smile.

The actor was recently reported to be dating model Vittoria Ceretti, 27.
Glazer added, “Leo, I’m sorry for making a joke. It’s cheap and I was trying not to say it, but look, we don’t know anything else about you. There’s nothing else, just open your mind.”
To prove her point, the comedian said she “did some searching” and said “the most in-depth interview I ever did was in Teen Beat magazine in 1991.”
“Is your favorite food still pasta, pasta, more pasta?” she asked, and DiCaprio laughed and pointed at Glaser, giving him a playful thumbs up.

Glazer is no stranger to the Golden Globes stage. Glazer, who made his hosting debut in 2025, called the experience “without a doubt the most fun I’ve ever had in my career.”
Earlier this month, she spoke to PEOPLE about how she’s preparing for the gig. “There’s a lot to joke about this year, and the star power in this room is going to be bigger than ever. I mean, it’s bigger than last year,” she said. “You always have to wonder what kind of people are in this room.”
During the interview, she also teased DiCaprio, whose latest film One Battle After Another led this year’s nominations, saying, “So Leo’s vape pen is going to be in there. I’m really excited to see that.”
Glazer said he wanted to avoid “the Leo joke you’ve heard 25 times,” but that didn’t mean the actor would be completely revealed.
“My goal is always to try not to do what is expected of me or say what people expect and try something different,” she said. “That’s going to be the challenge this year: find something else[about DiCaprio]that’s good for ridicule but isn’t ridiculing.”

“Also, he’s a legend and was incredible at One Battle (After Another),” Glazer added. “So that’s another thing. As long as I really like these guys and respect what they’re doing, I don’t have to say anything negative.”

Glazer said people can usually “tell” if she’s “lying and saying, ‘I’m such a fan!'” Then I’ll say something a little critical. ”
“But when I’m really a fan, and I’m a fan of so many of these people, that’s when I can try a little harder, because it really comes from a place of love and knowing that I’m nothing compared to you,” she continued. “We’re going to have some big, big players this year, we’re going to have a podcast, it’s going to be interesting to joke around with.”
