Final numbers will be released in the fall, and CBS’ Tracker continues its winning streak, leading the Eye among broadcast networks when counting both terrestrial and 35-day streaming viewership for non-sports series.

Of course, when you add streamers to the mix, the final season of “Stranger Things” couldn’t compete with the competition. Netflix series dominated the fall, averaging 32.86 million viewers. It was followed by Netflix’s hit docuseries Sean Combs: The Reckoning (20.64 million) and Paramount+’s fast-growing The Landman (19.64 million). “Tracker” was next with 16.65 million views, leading the series among broadcasters, followed closely by ABC’s “High Potential” (16.07 million).

CBS returned to its schedule this week with new original programming (as Olympic competition ended on NBC) and led the fall top 10 with eight shows (“Truckers,” “Matlock,” “Sheriff Country,” “Ghosts,” “60 Minutes,” “Boston Blue,” “NCIS,” and “Georgie and Mandy’s First Wedding.”) with “Sheriff Country” and “Boston Blue” topping the fall list. Two of the most-watched new series on air. Eye net boasted nine of the top 20 series in both linear and streaming.

Streaming continues to help expand the viewership of broadcast fares. “Tracker,” for example, averaged 11.4 million viewers on linear and an additional 5.2 million viewers on streaming. “High Potential” had a nearly 50/50 viewership with 8.3 million linear viewers and 7.8 million streaming viewers. In fact, “Abbott Elementary” draws more viewers streaming on Hulu (4.4 million) than ABC Linear (3.8 million).

Of course, these lists don’t include sports, which makes Ranker even more important on the air. But even without sports, broadcast networks did very well in the fall. Now, heading into midseason, we’re also adding some high performers like ABC’s “Will Trent” and “The Rookie.”

The fall 2025 rankers are:
