Nicole Kidman shares a behind-the-scenes look at her high-profile runway walk at Vogue World: Hollywood.
On Sunday, October 26, the 58-year-old actress posted on Instagram a behind-the-scenes version of Rita Hayworth’s song “Put the Blame on a Mame” from the classic 1946 film Gilda, filmed with Anna Wintour and Baz Luhrmann.
Kidman was seen posing in a Chanel dress on the grounds of Paramount Studios before Keith Urban’s runway show opened for her 58th birthday, working alongside Wintour on video footage and accompanying photos.

Another photo showed Wintour, Kidman and Luhrmann sitting in folding chairs and smiling for the camera as they worked on backstage footage.
“Vogue World: Celebrating film and fashion in Hollywood ❤️ Thank you Anna, Baz, Mathieu and the entire Vogue World team!” the Practical Magic star captioned her post.

Kidman’s dress, designed by Matthew Blasey for Chanel, was a draped black satin bustier dress adorned with a black satin camellia (which served as a subtle nod to the black dress worn by Hayworth in her scenes in Gilda).
The star rocked a bold red lip and smokey eye, which she paired with side-parted blonde bombshell curls, paying homage to Old Hollywood.
Later in the evening, the Big Little Lies alum walked down the runway to the tune of Hayworth.

The day after the event, Kidman shared another merry-go-round of her night on Instagram, posting even more gorgeous black-and-white photos of her look and the event. “Just a few more magical nights like ‘Vogue World: Hollywood,'” she wrote in the caption.
Kidman and Elvis director Luhrmann, who graced the cover of October’s Vogue magazine, spoke candidly about their close bond over the years.
Speaking to PEOPLE in 2023, Luhrmann recalled how their first meeting came about as a result of working together on a Vogue Australia issue.
“I was co-editing Vogue magazine. It was Australian Vogue magazine. We were going to Los Angeles and I wanted her to be on it. We became friends right away,” he recalled.
Rahman added, “[You]have artists that you get really close to. There are artists that you work with professionally, but you don’t pick up the phone and say, ‘I’m in town.'” However, Nicole is one of the few artists with whom I am a deep friend. ”

Kidman’s collaboration with Vogue comes during her separation from Urban after 19 years of marriage. The Oscar winners filed for divorce in Nashville on September 30, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason.
Earlier this month, a source told PEOPLE that Kidman is “surrounded by the two things that are most important to her”: “family and work.” She’s also “staying positive” as she navigates her new normal. “She’s not one to dwell on regrets. She believes everything happens for a reason.”
Kidman and Urban married in 2006 and have two daughters, Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret, who are now 17 and 14. As part of her divorce filing, Kidman requested that she be the primary residential parent in the custody agreement.
The actress and producer’s upcoming film projects include the TV versions of Margo’s Got Money Trouble and Scarpetta, the third season of Big Little Lies, and the sequel to 1988’s Practical Magic, starring Sandra Bullock. Kidman announced on Instagram on September 13 that filming for the latter film had officially concluded.
“She has a great attitude and is very grateful for her life,” a source added of Kidman’s persona, adding, “She has some work projects in the works and is looking forward to them.”
