Nicole Kidman revealed the secret of her “successful marriage” with her estranged husband Keith Urban a few months before he pulled the plug into their relationship.
“We have a double shower,” the “Big Little Lies” star told W Magazine in January to Cheekily.
“Double shower: The key to success in marriage.”
Kidman, 58, emphasized that “single items” in major bathrooms are also useful.
The actress and Urban, 57, have no longer shared the same bathroom, confirming on page 6 that they split up after their 19-year marriage on Tuesday.
“Sometimes, relationships just run the course,” the insider told us.
Kidman is told that he “didn’t want separation and was trying to save things,” and she feels “betrayed.”
Additional insiders told TMZ that exes had lived separately “from the beginning of the summer,” and Urban allegedly bought the property near his and Kidman’s home in Nashville, Tennessee.
The country singer is currently heading down the road for his “High and Alive World Tour,” while Kidman is in the care of his daughters Sunday Rose, 17, and 14-year-old Faith Margaret.
Kidman officially filed for divorce Tuesday, the day after news broke about her and Urban’s split.
Court documents obtained on page 6 revealed that the “Family Events” star listed the separation date on September 30, saying the breakup was due to “irreconcilable differences.”
Kidman was the “major residential parent” of her and Urban’s daughter, and requested that they have custody of them for 306 days a year.
The “Netherlands” star also asked the court to be allowed to make “major decisions” together with the children.
TMZ reported that Urban is already on the way with a new woman, but he has not responded to the rumors.
However, Kidman and Urban may have hinted at the couple’s misfortune with interviews and a brush-off of social media earlier this year.
