At 58 years old, Nicole Kidman continues to find purpose every day.
In an interview with Harper’s Bazaar published on Thursday, October 9, she candidly shared her secret to maintaining her “vibration and energy” as she ages.
“Life. Connections. People. Sharing ideas. And just actually being alive, I’m grateful to have it,” she said. “I’m grateful to be a part of this world.”

The multi-hyphenate said, “I’m grateful to be able to survive professionally and personally as a woman, as an actress, as a producer.”

“My children also give me purpose, that I’m their protector and guide, assuring them that I’m here and that no matter what, they’ll always have a safe place to grow up,” Kidman said.
The Big Little Lies star has two children, Bella, 32, and Connor, 30, with ex-husband Tom Cruise. She is also the mother of two daughters, Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14, with her estranged husband Keith Urban. The two separated in September 2025 after 19 years of marriage.
Kidman recently appeared with her daughters Sunday and Faith at the Chanel runway show during Paris Fashion Week on Monday, October 6th, where she debuted a new set of bangs.
The first mother-daughter outing in public since Kidman’s divorce news comes just days after Sunday walked the runway at the Dior show on Wednesday, October 1.
It was an important few days for Kidman and her daughters, as the matriarch of the family was also named an ambassador for Chanel.

Kidman told WWD in a statement: “As someone who deeply values haute couture, I am thrilled to have the opportunity to witness Mathieu’s vision for the oldest continuously operating haute couture house and wear what I know will be a gorgeous piece.”
PEOPLE confirmed that Kidman filed for divorce from Urban on Tuesday, September 30th. A source close to the family has since told PEOPLE that Kidman is focused on moving forward.

“She has a good attitude about everything and life goes on. She was in Texas this weekend and is happy to be back at work,” the source said.
