It’s a family issue.
Nicole Kidman has revealed that she will be bringing her eldest daughter to the 2026 Met Gala, which will be held on May 4th.
“So, I think this is the third time I’ve co-chaired it, so do I do it now?” the “Moulin Rouge” actress expressed on the March 11 episode of the “Las Culturistas” podcast. “I’m very, very happy. My daughter’s Sunday will come.”
Kidman has daughters Faith, 17 and 15, with ex-husband Keith Urban.
The Big Little Lies star, who is also mom to Bella, 33, and Connor, 31, with ex-husband Tom Cruise, gushed on Sunday that she “loves fashion.”
Kidman continued, “She actually just attended the Dior show. Yeah, she’s flying back from Paris right now.”
But the “Perfect Couple” alum can’t take credit for Sunday’s career.
“It’s her whole world, and it’s incredible,” Kidman said.
Kidman previously served as co-chair alongside Anna Wintour in 2003 and 2005. This time, she is most excited to meet one co-chair in particular.
“Well, I’m just there for Beyoncé,” Kidman chimed in.
Rounding out the 2026 co-chairs is Venus Williams.
Meanwhile, Sunday continues to take the modeling world by storm. She made her first runway debut in October 2024 at Miu Miu’s Spring/Summer 2025 Paris Fashion Week show.
Sunday appeared in a campaign for the brand’s collection in January of the following year, posing in a trench coat and skirt.
Appearing on the cover of a fashion magazine for the first time, Sunday posed for the August 2025 issue of Nylon magazine wearing a brown leather Prada skirt suit.
At the time, she admitted that she was already drawing inspiration from her mother’s fashion-forward closet.
“I take everything out of my mom’s closet,” she told the outlet. “I sometimes joke to her that it’s my favorite store.”
While her career has been stellar in its own right, the model credits her mother with inspiring her through it all.
“I definitely gained a lot of interest from those experiences, and it was an honor to experience them, especially at such a young age,” Sunday told Elle Australia earlier this month. “My mother has always been creative and is the biggest inspiration in my life. She plays an important role in everything I do.”
As for the best “industry advice” Kidman gave her daughter, Sunday said: “Always be on time.”
“There’s always going to be early calls and errands you don’t want to get up for, but being punctual is so important because it shows you’re ready and that you appreciate being there.”
Sunday’s sweet comments came after Kidman finalized her divorce in January after 19 years of marriage.
Under the agreement, Sunday and her sister Faith will spend 306 days a year with the Oscar winner and see Urban, 58, “every other weekend.”
