Nicole Kidman has a wide open heart.
According to The Sun, the actress was spotted holding hands with her Scarpetta co-star Simon Baker at the red carpet premiere in New York City on March 3, before being spotted getting cozy at the afterparty.
A source added: “Nicole and Simon’s close relationship is definitely a hot topic right now. Their chemistry on screen is great, and when you see them together in real life, it’s clear that their chemistry isn’t fake.”
However, a source close to the pair told Page Six: “This is completely untrue. They have known each other for years and are good friends. That’s all.”
Representatives for Kidman and Baker did not immediately respond to Page Six’s requests for comment.
In the prime thriller, Kidman, 58, plays forensic pathologist Dr. Kay Scarpetta, while Baker, 56, plays her husband Benton Wesley.
Off-screen, the Oscar winner is godmother to Baker and ex-wife Rebecca Rigg’s son.
The two were married from 1998 to 2020.
Kidman married Tom Cruise in 1990 and separated in 2001.
The former couple have two children, Bella (33) and Connor (31).
The “Eyes Wide Shut” star found love again with country star Keith Urban, whom she married in 2006.
The couple are also parents to a 17-year-old daughter, Sunday, and a 15-year-old daughter, Faith.
However, Kidman filed for divorce from Urban, 58, in September after 19 years of marriage.
“Sometimes relationships just pass on their own,” a source said at the time, adding that Kidman “didn’t want to separate and was trying to salvage things.”
The two have reportedly been living apart since early summer 2025.
After their breakup, the “You Look Good in My Shirt” artist was rumored to be romantically involved with guitarist Maggie Boe. But a friend of Mr Bo’s shut down the speculation.
Kidman and Urban’s divorce was finalized in January.
