Nicole Kidman doesn’t “regret” her divorce from Keith Urban.
A source close to the actress told People Friday that she is “staying positive” and “surrounded by the two things that are most important to her: her family and work.”
“She is not one to dwell on regrets. She believes that everything happens for a reason,” the source added.
The source also said Kidman, 58, has a “great attitude and is very grateful for her life” and is looking forward to “several work projects in the future.”
Earlier this month, a source exclusively shared the same sentiment with Page Six about the “Big Little Lies” star, telling Page Six that she is “sad but moving on” from her divorce.
“She is grieving but moving forward with her life and making sure her children are taken care of.”
Page Six confirmed last month that the couple had separated after 19 years of marriage, with a source saying, “Sometimes relationships just pass on their own,” adding that Kidman “didn’t want to separate and was trying to salvage things.”
Just one day later, on September 30, the “Perfect Couple” star officially filed for divorce from the musician, citing “irreconcilable differences” in documents obtained by Page Six.
According to TMZ, the actress and country music singer Kidman have been separated “since the beginning of the summer,” and while Urban, 57, was away on tour, Kidman took care of their two children, Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14, and “kept their family together.”
In an awkward turn of events, Urban’s guitarist Maggie Boe is embroiled in divorce rumors after a fan caught her making out on stage.
During a performance in April, Urban sang his 2016 hit “The Fighter,” which was inspired by his early romance with Kidman, with Beau, 25, according to a video obtained by TMZ.
Eagle-eyed fans noticed that when he sang “I was born to love you,” he pointed and looked directly at the guitarist, then scooped up her microphone and sang next to Urban.
The suspicious exchange resurfaced when Urban changed the lyrics of the song, which had previously been inspired by his wife to remove Beau’s name, instead singing, “When they want to be close to you, Maggie, I’ll be your guitarist.”
The young musician recently teased a new song on Oct. 9 with lyrics about fighting feelings, adding fuel to romance rumors.
Rumors that Beau and Urban are romantically involved remain unconfirmed.
Since her ex-boyfriend and his guitarist made headlines, Kidman has made some cryptic comments. In her Oct. 8 cover story for Vogue magazine, she admitted that her life took an unexpected turn.
“How many times do you think you know where your life is going, only to have to be told that it’s not going that way?” the producer said when asked how he felt in his 50s.
She also shared her wisdom for surviving life’s “catastrophic” moments in an Oct. 9 interview with Harper’s Bazaar.
“I’ve seen a lot, been through a lot, survived a lot,” she said. “I want to pass on some of that knowledge and wisdom and what I’ve learned.”
“It’s meaningful to know that no matter how painful, no matter how difficult, no matter how devastating an event, there is a way to get through it,” Kidman continued.
“You have to feel it. You can’t numb it. You have to feel it. And sometimes you feel like you can’t get over it. It’s going to break your heart, but if you move gently and slowly, and it may take a very long time, it will pass.”
