Nicole Kidman has opened up about her “wild” divorce from Keith Urban for the first time since their split in September 2025, showing what she’s missing from her ex in a sultry new photoshoot.
“I’m always moving in a positive direction,” the actress said in an interview with Variety published Wednesday. “What I’m grateful for is my family and letting them be and moving on. That’s all.”
The 58-year-old, who posed in her underwear for the candid cover story, continued: “Everything else, out of respect, I won’t talk about. I remain in the position of ‘we’re a family’ and that’s what we’ll always be.”
She went on to praise her “beloved people” and “beautiful girls” – Sunday, 17, and Faith, 15 – for “suddenly becoming women.”
A representative for Urban did not respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
After nearly 20 years of marriage, Kidman and Urban, 58, made headlines for their separation in September 2025.
The next day, the “Big Little Lies” alum filed for divorce from the country singer, whom she married in June 2006.
The two finalized their divorce in January, with the former lovers agreeing to waive all rights to child support and spousal support.
Kidman was allowed to spend 306 days with her daughters, and Urban was allowed to spend “every other weekend” with them.
Kidman first addressed the breakup in an interview on Wednesday, but hinted that he was struggling emotionally in a conversation with Ariana Grande for Interview Magazine last year.
When asked how the November 2025 sit-in is going, the Oscar winner replied, “I’m doing my best.”
Kidman looked back on filming the “Practical Magic” sequel with Sandra Bullock around the time his breakup with Sandra Bullock became public, and passionately talked about how “safe” and “protected” he felt on set.
Urban has not spoken publicly about the divorce.
The newly minted Grammy winner has been linked to musician Maggie Boe and country star Karlie Scott Collins in recent months, with the latter clapping back at dating speculation in January.
“Hey, this is absolutely ridiculous and not true,” the 26-year-old claimed to her followers at the time.
