Nicole Kidman attended a solo at the Cle des Pew Beauty event days before the news broke about her and Keith Urban’s separation after 19 years of marriage.
The 58-year-old actress took part in the beauty brand’s gala at the Academy Museum in Los Angeles on September 25th, stunned in a black dress with a draped corset by Vivienne Westwood.
She paired the satin figures by Logan Hollowell with a whopping $47,000 worth of gems for each woman’s daily wear.
The following day, Kidman spoke to Forbes about her new role as the global brand ambassador for the luxury skincare and cosmetics line, which was announced in July, and shared the “resilience” she has developed over the years.
“I think having a career that lasted so long has taught me about resilience,” she told the outlet.
“I’ve been told “no” many times in my career. It’s about being brave, being willing to test things and being criticized, and being willing to be unstoppable by that criticism. ”
Kidman revealed that she was not personally rejected and was “thank” for it.
“Statically, everything that wasn’t working for me led me to something else that actually thanked me for what I had experienced,” she explained.
“It’s also (some) resilience. It’s not setting your vision on what you think you have. It’s happy to open up (to stay) as you age and you think you’re going to have.”
Her and Urban’s final release was together in June, three months before the separation news. The two were filmed in Nashville, Tennessee on June 20th to watch the World Club Cup Group D match between Los Angeles FC on the US side and Esperance Sports de Tunis on the Tunisian side at Geodis Park Stadium.
Page 6 confirmed on Monday that Kidman and Urban, 57, split after their 19 years of marriage with a source who says “sometimes just run their course.”
The insider added that the “Big Little Lies” star “didn’t want separation and was trying to save things.”
The producer and country music singer are separated “from the beginning of the summer,” sources told TMZ.
The couple shares Sunday Rose, 17, and 17-year-old Faith Margaret, who is cared for by Kidman, according to the outlet.
“(Kidman) has been bringing together families throughout this difficult time ever since Keith disappeared,” the source said, referring to the current “High and Alive World Tour,” which begins in May and closes in October.
The Grammy Award winner is said to have moved from his family home in Nashville and purchased his property in the same city.
Couple representatives were not immediately available to request comment on Page 6.
The estranged couple has been married since June 25th, 2006.
Kidman previously married Tom Cruise from 1990 to 2001 and shared two children, 32-year-old Bella and Connor (30).
