Nicole Kidman brings lights, cameras and action to Nashville!
On Sunday, September 21st, the actress, 58, was headlined for Nicole Kidman: Necole Kidman: Home in Nashville at the Nashville Film Festival at the CMA Theater at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum.
Kidman, who has had a major residence in Nashville since 2008, revealed that she and actress Reese Witherspoon have big plans to bring Hollywood to the Tennessee capital.
“I bring more and more production here,” Kidman said during the panel. “Reese Witherspoon lives here too, and she’s one of my best.”

“I can’t say we’re bringing Big Little Lies here,” she joked about her and Witherspoon’s hit series. “It all has to go there.”
“But, there’s just a lot of production room here,” Kidman said. “The crew is great, the actors, and the people, everything… I feel it’s going to take off and keep taking off, so we’re going.”

“Now, Tennessee, we have this,” she added.
Kidman, who filmed Scalpetta’s first season in Nashville, said he was “excited” to start production with Season 2 of the Crime series. She described Nashville as a city that “inspires so many creativity.”
The Babygirl actress revealed her favorite aspects of life in Music City during the panel’s appearance before the 2003 film Cold Mountain was screened for festival attendees.
“What I love is people,” she said. “The people in Nashville accepted me 20 years ago, and continue to allow our family to live the most beautiful lives here.”
“I’m incredibly grateful,” she concluded.
