Nicola Peltz remains on good terms with wedding DJ Fat Tony after publicly supporting husband Brooklyn Beckham’s claims that his mother Victoria danced “inappropriately” for Beckham at their 2022 wedding.
The “Bates Motel” actress, 31, showed her support by liking the DJ’s Instagram post about “unconditional love” on Saturday morning.
“So happy to be back home,” Tony wrote alongside a photo of his two dogs. “What I thought about today…The power of unconditional love”
Toni’s post came after Brooklyn released a scathing statement in which she distanced herself from her family and accused her parents of trying to “ruin” her relationship with Peltz.
Among the list of accusations he hurled at his parents, the hot sauce entrepreneur, 26, claimed that Peltz “humiliated” his mother by “hijacking” her wedding dance with Peltz and dancing “very inappropriately” on top of her.
In a Friday interview with British show “This Morning,” Tony backed up Brooklyn’s claims and blamed singer Marc Anthony, who was performing on stage at the time, for some of the “really awkward” moments.
The DJ claimed that before the musician said Victoria’s name, he called for “the most beautiful woman in the room to come on stage” and instructed his son to “put his hands on mom’s hips.”
“There was no slut-dropping, no PVC cat suits, no Spice Girl action!” Tony revealed.
The DJ further revealed that he called the scene “inappropriate” because of the timing.
“What happened was basically Marc Anthony was performing on stage and then he brought Brooklyn on stage,” he recalled.
“Brooklyn went on stage and the next thing we knew, everyone was expecting Nicola to go up and do the first dance. Then Mark asked the most beautiful woman there to come on stage. And Mark said, ‘Victoria, come on stage.’
The stunt left Brooklyn “devastated” and Peltz “left the room in tears.”
Many celebrities have taken sides in this feud, and it’s clear which side Tony is on.
David Beckham and Victoria have yet to comment directly on their son’s claims. However, the parents both returned to Instagram on Wednesday, posting for a friend’s birthday.
In their first public comments since Brooklyn’s statement was published, the couple reflected on their “good memories” with their son in the comments below a post by British photographer Plato.
