Nickelodeon star Chris O’Neal was reportedly arrested Monday in Malibu, California in connection with a robbery.
According to TMZ, the actor, known for his role as Kevin Reed on “How to Rock,” was taken into custody at the Los Angeles County Jail and released the following afternoon.
The paper claimed on Wednesday that a 31-year-old man was among several people detained on suspicion of theft.
The robbery was reported at 5:45 a.m., and police officials say the caller saw three adults inside the home on security footage.
The group reportedly entered the house through the back before messing with the camera.
O’Neill did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
He has not posted on social media since November 2025.
It’s worth noting that O’Neal’s Instagram profile reads, “All[he does]is act and make music.”
O’Neal is also known for co-hosting Nickelodeon’s “You Gotta She This,” as well as “How to Rock,” which aired in 2012.
He played Ben Dupree in the network’s film Swindle the following year alongside Ariana Grande and Jennette McCurdy, and guest-starred on Zendaya’s KC Undercover in 2015.
From 2017 to 2020, O’Neal starred as Daniel Hayward on Netflix’s Greenhouse Academy.
The rapper released an EP called Just Getting Started in 2014, and most recently worked with 5th Ward in 2020.
Before her Nickelodeon debut, O’Neal had no acting experience other than “doing three commercials,” she told her YouTube subscribers in an August 2022 video.
“I was the first in my entire family to try this whole acting career, so everything I was doing was from scratch,” he explained at the time.
