Travis Kelsey is spending some downtime with his fiancée Taylor Swift during the bye week.
The newly engaged couple was photographed arriving for a cozy date night at The Polo Bar in New York City on Wednesday, November 5th.
Swift, 35, wore a dark off-the-shoulder long-sleeved shirt, which she accessorized with wide-legged gray pants and a black baguette purse. Kelce, 36, and her fiancé wore a black Henley long-sleeve shirt and dark green trousers.

Their Wednesday night date came during Kelce’s bye week with the Kansas City Chiefs. The Chiefs tight end spoke very briefly about his bye week on the Wednesday, Nov. 5 episode of his and brother Jason Kelce’s New Heights Podcast.
Travis is recovering from the team’s loss to the Buffalo Bills on Sunday, Nov. 2 and is awaiting the game against the Denver Broncos on Sunday, Nov. 16. However, during the Brothers’ podcast, Jason tried to discuss his off-field schedule with Travis.
“I’m thinking about how we’re going to beat the Denver Broncos. That’s going to be on my mind for the next two weeks,” Travis said when asked about his plans.
“Well, at least for the next week, try to focus on something a little different,” Jason urged him. “What are you doing, anything fun? Are you going on a trip? What are you doing here? What are you doing all week? Tell me about your personal life.”
Travis ended the conversation by saying, “No, that’s not possible.”
The bye week comes after Swift played in the Chiefs’ game against the Washington Commanders on Monday, October 27th. For the game, Swift wore Chiefs red from head to toe, including a $550 Courrèges sweater and matching $650 Courrèges skirt. She also wore knee-high red boots and carried a red bag.
During the game, Kelce celebrated his 83rd career touchdown and celebrated the occasion with a kind nod to Swift. After scoring the historic touchdown, Swift was seen looking up at the suite where she was watching the game and performing a little choreography from the pop superstar’s “The Fate of Ophelia” music video.
The late October game marked the third time Swift and Kelce attended a Chiefs game this season, after announcing their engagement on Aug. 26.

Kelsey collaborated with Kindred Lubeck, founder of fine jewelry label Artifex Fine, to create Swift’s engagement ring, choosing a giant old mine brilliant-cut diamond with antique elements.
Since they announced the big news, Swift has embarked on a press tour for her album, The Life of a Showgirl, and gushed about her new jewelry.
“I still think, ‘Wow, that’s amazing!'” the Grammy winner exclaimed during an Oct. 6 appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. “I see it all the time, and it just doesn’t feel normal to me.”
After releasing the album in early October, an exclusive source tells PEOPLE that Swift is ready to focus on planning the ceremony.
“She’s very focused on her work. She wasn’t kidding when she said she was exhausted. She’s ready to take some time off so she can focus on the wedding,” the source said, adding, “She’s very excited about the wedding planning.”

Another source told PEOPLE that the engagement “isn’t completely set in stone for either of them yet,” adding, “It still feels strange and exciting and new to say ‘fiancée’ when talking about each other, and they both seem to laugh every time they catch themselves saying it. They’re just quietly taking it all in.”
