The trailer for “Jury Duty: Company Camp,” the sequel to Amazon’s hit 2023 comedy film “Jury Duty,” shows an unsuspecting test subject surrounded by actors starting work at a fake company and going on a fake company camp.
On March 20th, the new season will be released on Prime Video in three episodes, with two episodes arriving on March 27th and a three-episode finale on April 3rd.
“Company Retreat” introduces viewers to Anthony, who joins the fake hot sauce company “Rockin’ Grandma’s” and gets caught up in the midst of a corporate takeover. During a company training camp, Anthony learns that a private equity firm is threatening to overhaul the hot sauce brand. Of course, it’s all staged, with Anthony at the center of the Truman Show-esque shenanigans.
“If they think they can just come in and do whatever they want, they’re going to be in for a rude awakening,” Anthony says in the trailer. “I care about you all. This is a family.”
The ensemble cast of “Jury Duty: Company Retreat” includes Alex Bonifer, Blair Beeken, Emily Pendergast, Erica Hernandez, Jerry Hawk, Jim A. Woods, Lanisa Renee Frederick, Marc-Sally Saint-Fleur, Rachel Kaley, Rob Lathan, Ryan Perez, Stephanie Hodge, Warren Burke, and Wendy Brown.
The series is executive produced by David Barnardo, Lee Eisenberg, Gene Stupinski, Todd Schulman, Nicholas Hutton, Jake Szymanski, Anthony King, Chris Kula, and James Marsden. Eisenberg and Stupnitsky co-produced the series, with Szymanski directing.
The Emmy-nominated first season followed juror Ronald Gladden, who is unaware that the trial he is being held in is a complete fabrication. Marsden led the ensemble cast.
