The “big break” came out of the bunker.
Golf Channel is reviving its sports competition series that was canceled in 2015. Season 24, which takes place at Horseshoe Bay Resort in Texas, will premiere in August 2026 in partnership with Good Good Golf, ending an 11-year hiatus for the show.
“The Big Break” pits highly skilled golfers, including amateurs and pros, against each other in a variety of skill challenges, including the show’s signature “Glass Break” segment and the returning “Flop Wall” segment in Season 24. Winners typically receive exemptions to professional golf tournaments, including the PGA Tour, LPGA Tour, DP World Tour, and more. The winner of Season 24 will earn an automatic berth to the PGA Tour’s Good Good Championship in November 2026.
Blair O’Neal, winner of the 2010 Dominican Republic version of “The Big Break,” will host this season. Members of Good Good Golf appear throughout, including Brad Dalke and Seann Walsh as two of the 12 contestants, Matt Scharf as co-host, and Garrett Clark and Bubby Broders as the captains of the non-playing teams.
