Netflix has featured “Saturn Return,” a hot project featuring Rachel Brosnahan, Charles Melton and Will Poulter attached to the star.
Plan B – The company of Brad Pitt, Dede Gardner and Jeremy Kleiner, who just announced their first international forward post base in London, is producing “Saturn Return” with Emily Wolf, who joined Plan B in 2022.
“Saturn Return” will be directed by Greg Kwedar. Greg Kweder has earned the Oscar nomination for his recent film, “Sing Sing,” for Best Spreay. The film was revised by Kwedar and Clint Bentley and written by Gaelyn Golde. Play Kwedar and Bentley using Netflix in a long time since winning Sundance breakout “Train Dreams,” which will be shown on Tiff.
“The Return of Saturn” is described as a timeless Chicago set romance that explores the themes of love, loss, and complex turns of life in a decade between the ambitious young love of college and the complex reality of adulthood.
Since breaking through with Todd Haynes’ May December, which was also released by Netflix, Melton has starred in the action-packed war film Warfare. He is next seen in Nicholas Winding Refn’s “Her Private Hell.”
Emmy winner Bros Nahan joined the project following a busy summer, starring as Lois Lane in the WB hit “Superman” film and starring James Hayes’ thriller “Amateur” with Rami Marek. She is the next star, executive produced season 2 of Apple TV+’s “Presumed Innocent.”
Paulter co-starred with Melton in “War,” and played a recurring role in FX’s “Bear,” and was nominated for Emmy.
