Model and content creator Nala Smith first met fellow IMG model Lucky Blue Smith in 2019. Less than a year later, the two quietly married, started a family, and began building a life that would become one of TikTok’s most famous couples.
Although the couple has kept many details of their personal lives private, they occasionally open up about their relationship, family life and being in the public eye online and in interviews. Since their 2020 wedding, the couple have welcomed four children and amassed a huge following on social media. This is largely due to Nara’s videos of her cooking from scratch, which are often shot in her home kitchen.

2019
Nala and Lucky met while working as models during Milan Fashion Week. Shortly after, Lucky messaged Nala on Instagram and they started communicating. The couple said their text messages transitioned to seven-hour phone calls and they have spoken every day since then. “Since that day, there hasn’t been a day that we haven’t talked,” Nala said in an April 2025 interview with Vogue.
“I messaged Nala on Instagram and started texting her little by little. I was very slow in sending messages,” Lucky revealed in an interview. “I like to take time to think about what I’m going to say,” Nara quipped, “Five business days?”
That fall, the two announced their relationship on Instagram.
Lucky reportedly proposed to Nala in 2019.
Nala later revealed that she developed a crush on Lucky several years ago after seeing him appear on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
“After we got married, I was thinking about our journey and realized that even though I watched Ellen’s interview with Lucky when I was 15 and fell in love with him, I forgot about him until later 😭,” she wrote in a December 2024 Instagram post.
February 2020
Nala and Lucky got married in a small California beach ceremony. Nara shared a video from that day with the caption, “Today, I got married to my best friend.”
October 2020
The couple welcomed their first daughter, Rumble Honey Smith. Nala shared the news on Instagram with the caption, “Little baby angel rumble honey 10/7/20.”
January 2022
Nala gave birth to her second child, a son named Slim Easy. On his birthday the following year, he commemorated it by posting a video of a homemade donut tower and writing, “I can’t believe time flies so fast and I now have a best friend who is 2 years old.”
April 2024
Their third child, daughter Wimsey Lou, was born. Nala announced her arrival on April 11 with a short video captioned, “Our little angel has arrived!”
August 2024
The couple said they had no intention of having any more children. “Yes, it’s over,” Nala said in the GQ video, echoing Lucky’s sentiments. They explained that although they originally envisioned a large family, they now feel three children is the right number.
September 2024
Nala and Lucky attended Ralph Lauren’s Spring 2025 show in the Hamptons as part of New York Fashion Week. Lucky walked the runway and the couple shared a moment together in front of the cameras.
Around the same time, they revealed plans to move to the East Coast, explaining in a TikTok video that they wanted to settle somewhere quieter with more space to garden and raise a family.
December 2024
Nala posted a throwback clip of Lucky’s 2019 proposal to commemorate their 5th engagement anniversary. In her caption, she reflected on how her life has unfolded since then, writing, “I wish I could have told my 18-year-old self how beautiful life could be.”
June 2025
Nala and Lucky have revealed that they are pregnant with their fourth child. In a reel posted to Instagram and TikTok, Nala approaches Lucky in a flowing cream-colored blouse and skirt, before gently cradling her growing baby bump. Lucky smiled at the camera and placed his hand on her stomach and kissed her. “Our little surprise,” she wrote in the caption, adding, “Loading baby 4…” above the video.
The announcement came nearly a year after the couple announced they were done having children. The distance to Nara and the gender of the baby have not yet been disclosed.
In the lead-up to Father’s Day, Nala posted an Instagram reel highlighting Lucky’s best father moments, including holding his children in his arms, dancing with his daughter on the beach, and taking the kids to Halloween. “Happy Father’s Day! You look amazing and cute,” he captioned the post.

Nala and Lucky welcomed their fourth child, a baby girl named Forney Golden Smith. Nala announced the news on Instagram, writing, “A little golden girl born on my birthday was welcomed into this world by Lucky. Her entry into this world was graceful, gentle, and so magical. Filled with all the love and closeness!”
