Season 2 of “My Life With the Walter Boys” reached 11.8 million views in its first four days of availability on Netflix, making its debut as the No. 1 series on Netflix for the week of August 25th-31st. The popularity of the new season also helped season one, bringing it to 7th place with 2.5 million views.
However, the No. 1 Netflix title for the entire week was “KPOP Demon Hunters.” This remains in Hot Streak after becoming the most popular English film in streamers last week. It hit 30 million views in the 11th week of Netflix’s Top 10, followed by the 24.7 million debut of “The 24.7 million Murder Club” followed the film charts.
Absent in the Top 10 in particular was season 2 of “Love, Love, Meghan,” which premiered on August 26th and spent six days to gain viewers. Season 1 of the Duchess of Sussex Lifestyle series was by no means a smash hit, but only spent a week in Netflix’s Top 10 with 2.6 million views in March, but the performance of Season 2 was even quieter. The 10th title on the English TV charts for the week of August 25-31 achieved 2.1 million views. Netflix recently expanded its partnership with Meghan and Prince Harry, but the agreement has moved from an overall deal to a smaller First Look deal.
Behind the TV chart’s “My Life with Walter Boys” is “Hostages,” which marks the fourth week of “Wednesday,” season 2, marking 11.6 million views in the second week on the charts and bringing 8.4 million views.
The fourth-placed position was sent to a docusary called “Katrina: Hell or High Water” and debuted with 7.3 million views. The remaining positions on the chart were sent to titles below the less than 3 million views, including the August 25th edition of “Raw: 2025″ (2.6 million) (TV: The Reality of the Bigiest Loser” (2.5 million), Ms. Rachel (2.2 million) and “21 million).
