“Mortal Kombat II” actor Ludi Lin joins the cast of “Comedy Invasion III” along with comedians Juno Meng, Eric Escobar, Trevor Jean, Michelle Marizaki, Sivan Nadan, Kitty Pine and Vanja Renee.
The third season of the AAPI stand-up comedy showcase stars Koji Steven Sakai, creator and showrunner of Little Nall Pictures, Victor Elizalde, executive producer of Viva Pictures, and Quentin Lee, creator and showrunner of Margin Films. Each episode features a different comedian performing a 30-minute set.
Produced by Little Nalu Pictures and distributed by Viva Pictures Distribution LLC, “Comedy InvAsian” premiered as a Hulu exclusive in 2018. Seasons 1 and 2 are currently streaming on Peacock, Tubi, and Amazon Prime.
The series launched television appearances for several AAPI comics, including Atsuko Okatsuka, Joey Gira, Robin Tran, and Jaoin Summers.
Season 3 will be recorded during four live performances during Valentine’s weekend, February 14th and 15th, at the Tateuchi Democracy Forum at the Japanese American National Museum in Los Angeles.

Elizalde also produces Entre Nos, a Latinx stand-up comedy series currently airing its fifth season as an HBO exclusive.

Season 3’s cast includes Eric Escobar, who appeared on Prime Video’s “Beast Game” and NBC’s “Last Comic Standing.” Vancouver-based Trevor Jean makes his television debut. Lin will return to Mortal Kombat II in May as Liu Kang. Michelle Marizaki is based in Los Angeles. Seattle comedian Juno Meng made his debut on Lee’s 2024 special, “Rough Proud.” Bay Area comic Sivan Nadan. Filipino-American comedian Kitty Pine. and Vanja Renee, who is of Korean and black descent.
Viva Pictures will distribute the series on AAM.tv, Tubi, and Prime Video. The company’s current comedy specials include Nick Swardson, Gary Owen and Craig Ferguson, and its original series “Entre Nos” airs on HBO. Viva also includes early features by Ralph Barbosa, Jaoin Summers, Atsuko Okatsuka, and Joey Gira.
