Whitney Leavitt likens her loss from ‘Dancing with the Stars’ to a ‘breakup’ in a tearful video.
“I’m going to speak from the heart and share my feelings,” the “Mormon Wives” star began in his TikTok video Thursday after his shocking exit from “Prince Night” on Tuesday.
“When you’re on ‘Dancing with the Stars,’ you see each other for hours every day. Then it goes away. It really feels like a breakup. I feel like I’m going through a withdrawal right now,” she tearfully explained.
She went on to say that waking up that morning without rehearsing with professional partner Mark Ballas “just felt weird” and “made me sad.”
“You develop real friendships and real connections with these people,” Leavitt, 32, insisted. “You learn so much about yourself and people always lift you up. You challenge yourself, and you just feel so loved.”
The reality star specifically shared her close friendship with Ballas, 39, whom she said she “will be forever grateful for.”
“One of the things I liked most was that I didn’t expect it and I made lifelong friends.”
“I love you all and I really love this show,” she concluded.
While appearing on ‘DWTS’, Leavitt, who dominated dance competition shows, received a lot of backlash from fans due to her previous dancing experience.
Leavitt also went viral for the wrong reasons after a clip of her appearing smiling went viral on social media after Fifth Harmony star Lauren Jauregui and her pro partner Brandon Armstrong were shockingly eliminated from “TikTok Night.”
Fans claimed that Levitt was going to “celebrate who made it to the next week” after someone was eliminated, but co-star Danielle Fishel defended her, telling TMZ that the show was “a roller coaster of emotions celebrating the happiness of themselves and their friends who were safe.”
Season 3 of ‘SLOMW’, which premiered during the competition, also didn’t help her as she is known for receiving villain edits.
Despite previous criticism, her comments section was filled with support from fans of several of her “DWTS” co-stars.
Alix Earle commented, “I love you. You’re the sweetest person ever and it’s been amazing getting to know you, so you should be proud of yourself,” to which Leavitt responded, “Thank you, I love you. I can’t wait to see you dance next week!”
“You are truly a star!!!! I love you!!!” Pentatonix star Scott Howing added. “I love you!” she wrote back.
