Miley Cyrus’ Malibu Home has been almost completely rebuilt.
While talking to Pamela Anderson in a new issue of the CR Fashion Book, “Flowers” Singer 32 revealed that her new home is almost complete, almost seven years after being destroyed in a series of devastating fires in 2018.
“I’ve been working on rebuilding,” Cyrus told Anderson, 58, in an interview released on September 22nd about the house she shared with her ex-husband, Liam Hemsworth. “I lost my home to Woolsey’s fire and have now been rebuilding for the past five years. It looks like I’m ready in the coming weeks.”
The Grammy-winning superstar was filming a black mirror in South Africa as the flames engulfed her home. Before separating in August 2019, the following month after the destruction, Cyrus, married 35-year-old Hemsworth, was left to grieve many of the lost memories.
“The house had so many magic in it,” Cyrus told Tiktok in August 2023, explaining that she had recorded her first non-Hannah Montana album at the house. “It really changed my life.”
“Meet Miley Cyrus records really meant I was just starting to write my own songs as a solo artist, so I lived in a house in Ramirez Canyon with a producer in Malibu.

Still, the “American Party” musician was able to find a silver lining in the tragedy.
“When my house burned out, it was actually the biggest blessing I’ve ever had in my life,” Cyrus explained something from her visual album in May during a screening of Beautiful.
“I can lose everything, I can reconstruct it, I have a purpose and I can make choices about all the pieces I’m trying to gather, or about the people in my life,” she continued. “And for my house, when my house burned out, I think a lot of my relationships burned out.

Apart from creating a new start for the singer, Cyrus realized that her voice had “changed” following the destruction of her home.
“It comes out in a completely different way,” she told Joe Rogan about her vocals during a September 2020 episode of the Joe Rogan Experience. “You know, I see things differently. I’m very different. Honestly, my voice changed a lot after the fire.”
“I could sing more after the fire. It almost seemed to unleash something,” the star added.
