Miley Cyrus once had a secret romance with Disney Channel alum Dylan Sprouse.
The “Flowers” singer confirmed that she dated the “Suite Life of Zack and Cody” actor on the “Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special,” which premiered on Disney+ on Monday.
“Dylan was my boyfriend,” Cyrus said. “I think he was the cutest.”
Confirming rumors that the two were dating, Cyrus, 33, added: “It’s true, I confirmed it.”
She recalled that she fell in love with Dylan, also 33, when they were both appearing on the Disney Channel at the same time, along with Dylan’s twin brother Cole.
“Dylan was my crush,” Cyrus explained. “Their dad took us out for sushi. I’m interested in that whole culture, and it was a two-on-one. Like, bring your brother. Hello!”
Cyrus starred in Hannah Montana from 2006 to 2011, while the Sprouse twins starred in The Suite Life of Zack and Cody from 2005 to 2008, and then The Suite Life on Deck from 2008 to 2011.
In 2006, they co-starred in a three-part crossover special, “That’s So Sweet Life of Hannah Montana,” which combined the show with “That’s So Raven.”
Dylan, who married model Barbara Palvin in July 2023, previously mentioned dating Cyrus on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” In 2008.
“I was probably about 11 or 12 years old,” he said. “I think we met on her set and went on a date.”
Dylan added jokingly: “Then Nick Jonas walked by and it was all over.”
Cyrus famously dated Jonas, also 33, from 2006 to 2007, before briefly reuniting in 2009.
She is believed to have written the songs “Before the Storm” and “7 Things” about their romance.
During an appearance on the Every Single Album podcast last year, Cyrus said she was “distraught” and “sobbing” over her initial breakup with Jonas.
However, Cyrus insisted she has no grudge against the “Camp Rock” actor, who is currently married to Priyanka Chopra and has 4-year-old daughter Malti.
“We’re all moving on,” Silas said. “Everything is fine in life.”
The “Wrecking Ball” singer is currently engaged to Max Morando.
In December 2025, Page Six broke the engagement news after Cyrus wore an attention-grabbing diamond ring to the Avatar: Fire and Ash premiere in Los Angeles.
The couple has been together since 2021.
